Robinsons Retail Holdings Inc. (RRHI) is bringing premium groceries, freshly grilled steaks and cocktails under one roof with the launch of Little Marketplace, its first boutique convenience store, in Boracay on October 30.
Located at Henann Crystal Sands Resort in Station 1, the beachfront outlet marks RRHI’s entry into a smaller retail format targeting tourists and residents.
Among its main attractions is a “Pick & Grill” counter, where customers can choose imported meats, including U.S. Greater Omaha steaks and Canadian ribeye, for on-site preparation.
The store will also feature the Little Marketplace Bar, serving draft beer, wines and signature cocktails, alongside a selection of imported products and vacation essentials.
“Little Marketplace reimagines what a convenience store can be by creating a more curated and experiential environment for customers,” said Diana Prince Ang, deputy general manager of The Marketplace.
“We wanted to develop a format that feels relevant to how people shop and spend their time in Boracay while providing greater convenience for both residents and tourists.”
RRHI said the Boracay outlet will serve as a pilot for potential expansion into other tourist destinations and urban lifestyle locations across the Philippines.
Little Marketplace will operate daily from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. starting October 30.
The launch will feature a beachfront community fun run, a morning “Matcha & Coffee Rave” and a sunset DJ set.
